BWIP
Now Open — Black Women in Business & Profession

You have been holding everything together. Now let us hold something for you.

The BWIP ACCESS Program is a fully funded program built for Black women in New Brunswick who are ready to start, strengthen, or advance — in business, in career, or both.

Built to Grow: A Practical Business and Career Workshop for Black Women — designed for entrepreneurs, professionals, and side-hustlers at every stage of the journey.

Tuition-free  ·  Funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)  ·  Powered by BBPN

“This program was not built for you as an afterthought. You were the whole point.”

For over a decade, BBPN has been listening to Black women in New Brunswick — in town halls, in living rooms, in community spaces. Built to Grow is the direct result of what we heard. Whether you are starting from an idea, running a business that needs structure, or a professional ready to rise — there is a pathway here for you.

🛒

Ready to Sell

Program participants have the opportunity to showcase and sell at the BBPN Pioneer Vendor Trade Fair — November 2026.

Built to Grow — Three Pathways

One program. Your pathway.

Pathway 01 — Start

For women with an idea, side hustle, or early-stage business.

You have something. Maybe it is just a spark right now. This pathway gives you the foundation to turn that spark into something real — registered, structured, and ready to grow.

Topics Covered
  • Get legally registered — fast
  • Sole proprietor or incorporated? Pick with confidence
  • Price it right, from day one
  • Land your first paying customers
  • Bookkeeping that doesn’t scare you
  • Open a business bank account like a pro
  • Get grant- and funding-ready
Pathway 02 — Strengthen

[Insert Strengthen pathway description — for women with an operating business who need structure, systems, or growth support.]

[Insert supporting paragraph for the Strengthen pathway.]

Topics Covered
  • [Insert Strengthen topic — e.g. “Systems that run without you”]
  • [Insert Strengthen topic — e.g. “Contracts that protect your business”]
  • [Insert Strengthen topic — e.g. “Marketing that actually converts”]
Pathway 03 — Advance

[Insert Advance pathway description — for professionals ready to grow, lead, or transition into consulting/entrepreneurship.]

[Insert supporting paragraph for the Advance pathway.]

Topics Covered
  • [Insert Advance topic — e.g. “Negotiate the raise, the rate, or the deal”]
  • [Insert Advance topic — e.g. “Build a personal brand people trust”]
  • [Insert Advance topic — e.g. “From employee to consultant, on your terms”]
Cuts Across Every Pathway

Trained abroad. Ready here. Let’s make it official.

Whether you’re starting, strengthening, or advancing — if you’re carrying credentials, licenses, or years of experience earned outside Canada, this track sits underneath all three pathways to help you convert what you already have into recognition here.

[Confirm specific partner organizations, bridging programs, or assessment bodies BBPN works with before publishing — e.g. World Education Services, provincial regulatory bodies, or NBCC bridging pathways.]
